Liani Richardson

Liani Richardson founded HARP Firearms Training & Defense after surviving two near-death experiences during armed robbery and carjacking incidents. With mentorship from Nino Brown, US Air Force veteran and NRA instructor, and Haze Lancaster, Army veteran and founder of Hazeline Guns, Liani is passionate about helping individuals become comfortable with firearm ownership and carrying for personal protection. As a certified NRA Pistol Instructor, NRA Shotgun Instructor, and NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO), Liani brings a wealth of expertise to ensure students are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to safely and responsibly handle firearms.

Nino Brown

Nino Brown is a former U.S. Air Force Combat Controller (CCT) with elite-level experience in tactical operations, firearms mastery, and real-world combat applications. Serving with the 21st Special Tactics Squadron, Nino executed over 217 missions across Africa and the Middle East, where his responsibilities included coordinating close air support, eliminating high-value targets, and conducting direct-action raids in hostile environments.

With a battlefield-tested understanding of firearms, Nino is highly skilled in the use of rifles, pistols, and mission-specific loadouts under extreme pressure. He was known for his aggressive yet calculated shooting style—favoring precision, discipline, and adaptability. His primary weapon was a 10.5” URGI rifle equipped with an EOTech optic, optimized for engagements under 300 meters. He also operated the M17 pistol and Glock sidearms depending on mission requirements, and trained extensively in semi-automatic precision shooting, close-quarters combat, and tactical movement.

Beyond weapons handling, Nino is a subject-matter expert in small team tactics, urban operations, and force-on-force engagement strategy. He trained U.S. and foreign forces in combat readiness, situational awareness, and the tactical use of cover, concealment, and coordinated fire.

Now a Nationally Certified Firearms Instructor and Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL), Nino brings his special operations background into the civilian training world—offering unmatched instruction in firearms safety, marksmanship, home defense, and real-world tactical application. His training programs are not theoretical—they are battle-proven, structured, and built to prepare individuals for real-life scenarios, whether in self-defense or professional duty.
